Year-End Book Fair from Aras, İstos

More than 200 books from two publishing houses will be exposed on the book fair on December 19, 20 at the atrium of Beyoğlu Panaiya İsodion Church.

Through its books published in Armenian and Turkish, Aras Publishing House like a window opening to the Armenian culture, sheds light on the literature and history of Armenians who have spread all over the world from the geography we live in. The publications of Aras have a large spectrum ranging from classics from the modern era of the Armenian literature to the works of authors of our time living in diaspora.

İstos on the other hand, established with the intent of contributing to studies on the history of Rums and İstanbul, their cultures and lives and reviving a publishing tradition which had been interrupted for decades, reunites readers with works in Turkish, Greek-Turkish and Greek.

Reintroducing texts worth being considered historical credentials to Turkish, İstos presents in addition also Turkish and Greek literary and academic works to the attention of the interested.

You can reach over 200 books with discounts up to 50% at the atrium of the Panayia İsodion Church in the Hacopulo Passage, one of the important meeting points of Istanbul on December 19, Saturday and December 20, Sunday between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.(EKN/DG)
