A bomb attack was carried out with an explosives-laden truck in Syria's northwestern district of Afrin yesterday evening (September 14). While nine people have lost their lives in the attack, 43 have been wounded.
The state-run Anadolu Agency (AA) has reported that "according to local sources, YPG/PKK terrorists continue to carry out attacks but do not claim responsibility as they end up harming civilians."
The attack has been shared with the public by the Governor's Office of Hatay on the Turkey-Syria border. In a written statement, the Governor's Office has indicated that the bombing took place at around 8 p.m. yesterday.
Investigation of the attack and identifying the people involved continue, the Governor's Office has stated further. (TP/SD)
