One soldier has lost his life, two others have been wounded in an explosion by an improvised explosive device, which was planted by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) members, being detonated in Turkey’s southeastern district of Eruh, Siirt.
As reported by the DHA, the attack was launched during military vehicle driving by.
Three sergeant majors were wounded in the vehicle, the wounded soldiers were taken to Siirt State Hospital.
One of the treated soldiers couldn’t be saved despite all the efforts. It was reported that the other two soldiers were in critical condition. (EKN/TK)
