3 Soldiers in Afrin, 1 Other in Bitlis Lose Their Lives

An improvised explosive device has exploded during explosive device search in Afrin center, killing three soldiers and wounding three others.

The bodies have been taken to Hatay State Hospital and the wounded soldiers to hospitals following the initial treatment.

Of the soldiers killed in explosion, Infantry Contracted Private Gökhan Gönüllü’s family in Tokat and Infantry Contracted Private Hasan Kadir Demiral’s family in Hatay have been informed.

One soldier has died, another one has been wounded in Bitlis

One soldier died, another one was wounded resulting by explosion of an improvised explosive device planted by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) members in Bitlis during an operation.

Taken by a helicopter referred to the scene, the wounded soldier was taken to Bingöl State Hospital for treatment.

The operation carried out 30 kilometers from city center continues. (AS/TK)
