Two soldiers have lost their lives in northern Afrin during Operation Olive Branch carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF).
An attack was launched on the soldiers in the area between Darmık Mountain and Bülbül district. According to initial findings, 10 soldiers two of whom were severely injured in the attack. The wounded soldiers were taken to Kilis State Hospital for treatment.
According to the statement issued by the TAF in the evening hours, Noncommissioned Officer Ömer Bilal Akpınar and Sergeant Major Yunus Emre Doğan lost their lives.
Bodies of the soldiers were sent to Antep. (EKN/TK)
