State-run Anadolu Agency senior reporter Sarp Özer has been wounded in his leg and hand during his coverage of “Operation Olive Branch”, which has been launched by the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) and Free Syrian Army.
According to the AA, shrapnel pieces hit Özer’s hand and leg due to the missile and howitzer launched on the area.
Özer was taken to Kırıkhan State Hospital following his initial treatment. Özer’s health condition is fine.
