Attack in Hakkari, 17 Soldiers 4 of Whom Heavily Wounded

17 soldiers four whom have been heavily wounded in a bomb attack launched during the passage of military vehicle in Turkey’s southeastern Yüksekova district in Hakkari province.

According to a statement by the Presidency of General Staff, the attack was launched by an improvised explosive device being detonated.

As the wounded soldiers were referred to hospital, military operation has been launched in the area. (EKN/TK)
