Another soldier from Turkey has lost his life in the armed clashes in Euphrates Operation in Syria’s al Bab region which has entered its 94th day.
The General Staff in its statement has announced that the soldier had been killed in the clashes between the forces of Turkey and Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and noted that forces of Turkey aimed at supporting the forces of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) with massive fire from land and air.
Noting that four Free Syrian Army (FSA) members had also lost their lives and 25 others were injured, the General Staff added that five soldiers from the forces of Turkey had also suffered light injuries.
The names of the soldiers who lost their lives were not announced. As of today, the number of soldiers from Turkey who lost their lives in the Euphrates Shield Operation reached 18. (EKN/DG)
