Another soldier, who was heavily wounded in the offensive launched into al-Bab as part of Euphrates Shield Operation commenced on August 24 into northern Syria, has lost his life.
The death toll has risen to four with the latest killing in the last operation.
Doğan News Agency reported that the soldier was sergeant major Halit Topuz (25).
With Topuz’s death, the number of soldiers from Turkey killed in Euphrates Shield Operation has risen to 17.
Topuz’s body will be interred in Bitlis’ Ahlat district. (EKN/TK)
