Ozguruz.org news portal has started its broadcasting life.
Starting its broadcast with the efforts of a group of journalists from Turkey and the journalism organization CORRECTIV, the Editor-in-Chief of the news site has become Can Dündar, who lives in Germany and was sentenced to 10 years and 10 months in prison because of his reports on MİT Trucks.
The portal will broadcast in German and Turkish. Translations of some of the contents broadcasted in Germany can be read on the website.
Calling for solidarity to audience, Özgürüz also aims to cooperate with correspondents and those who want to share information via secure connections.
Özgürüz means “We are free” in English. (EA/TK)
