Journalist Tuğba Tekerek has been detained while taking photographs to report breaking news.
P24 on its Twitter account reported that Tekerek was taken into custody.
Tekerek's attorney Veysel Ok talking to bianet has noted that Tekerek was taken into custody while taking photographs of acquaintances of those detained and that she was being held on charges of defaming the President following an examination of her social media postings.
Tekerek'in Cumhurbaşkanına hakaret ettiği düşünülen tweet şöyle:
Before the aforementioned detention, Tekerek from the News Watch had been taken into custody for taking photographs at the entrance of the hearing room of Diyarbakır court where she wanted to watch the hearing of arrested JİNHA journalist Beritan Canözer.
