Dicle News Agency (DİHA) correspondent Muhammed Doğru has been arrested.
Sakarya University student Doğru had been taken into custody together with fellow students on April 15.
He had been referred to court yesterday (April 19) with the other 11 persons under custody.
The court has decided to arrest Doğru and other six persons on charges of “propagandizing for the terrorist organization” and “being a member of the terrorist organization”.
The others who have been arrested are Filiz Yavuz, Saliha Aras, Semih Batıkan, Nesih Soydan and Leyla Ayalp.
Including Doğru, the number of journalists in prison has risen to 32 and DİHA correspondents in prison has risen to eight. (EA/DG)
