It has been learned that the building belonged to Feza Journalism in which trustee has been appointed by İstanbul 6th Peace Criminal was sold to Cihan Media Distribution Joint Stock Company on January 12.
According to CNN Türk’s report, Cihan Media Distribution Joint Stock Company may ask the trustees to evacuate the building.
State-run Anadolu Agency also reported that the sale took place on January 12. The building now looks as property of Cihan Media Distribution Joint Stock Company.
CLICK - TRUSTEE APPOINTED TO ZAMAN DAILY
The aforementioned company paid 52,841,000 TL (16,500,000 euros), according to the registries.
It is stated in the documents submitted to Land Registry Administration and Bahçelievler Municipality that Feza Journalism has left the building due to “sale”.
Cihan Media Distribution Joint Stock Company not giving the list of subscribers to trustee delegation and refusing to distribute the newspaper prepared by the new administration by putting forward that it is carrying out works of Zaman daily, may allegedly ask the building to be evacuated.
On the other hand, according to the report in Cumhuriyet daily in addition to building of Zaman daily, its right on logo and name were sold before the trustee appointment. (EKN/TK)
