Media Ban on Intelligence-Affiliated Trucks Coverage
Turkey Radio and Television Higher Board announced that Adana 5th Peace Judge Authorities imposed a ban on the publication of all written, visual and internet content related to the stopping and searching of National Intelligence Agency vehicles.
Radio and Television Higher Board (RTÜK) announced that Adana 5th Peace Judge Authorities imposed a ban on the publication of all written, visual and internet content related to the stopping and searching of National Intelligence Agency (MIT) vehicles.
RTÜK released the following statement on its website:
“With a ruling issued on 14.01.2015 and serial number of 2015/197, Adana 5th Peace Judge Authorities imposed a ban on the publication of all written, visual and internet content related to the stopping and searching of MIT vehicles on 01.01.2014 in the greater Hatay province area and on 19.01.2014 in the greater Adana province area due to the ongoing public investigation.” (EKN/BM)
