The 8th Trans Pride Week started today (June 26).
The week will end with 8th Trans Pride Parade to be organized on İstiklal Street on July 2 Sunday at 5 p.m.
"Beni Bırakma" (Don't Leave Me) exhibition in which the works by imprisoned LGBTIs reflecting prison experiences and resistance practices will be exhibited.
The exhibition will be open to visit at between 1-6 p.m. in the house of LGBTI activist and Şişli Mayor Advisor Boysan Yakar, who lost his life in a traffic accident in 2015.
In addition to Stensil workshop and self-defense workshop, panels and forums tackling trans individuals' demands and problems.
On July 1, following the closing cocktail to be organized in Yakar's house again a street meeting will be held on Mis Street.
The week will end with Trans Pride Parade. (ÇT/TK)
