The anaphrodisiac treatment that would be administered to sexual assault criminals and regulation which is about other obligations was published in Official Gazette yesterday (July 26).
According to the regulation that has been published in Official Gazette, anaphrodisiac administering can be applied to the sexual assault criminals while they are in prison or are on probation.
Among the obligations that would be imposed by judicial decision, there are “joining the therapeutic programs, being banned from living in the victim’s settlement and workplace, being banned from approaching the victim’s location, being banned from working in a job that requires to be together with kids.”
Judgeship of execution will decide
Before deciding to anaphrodisiac administering, convicts will be sent to the Ministry of Health hospitals that have mental disorders and urology or endocrinology and metabolism disease experts to take medical board report.
The report will state whether the convicts to need medical treatments, and which methods would be employed if they need it. Judgeship of execution will decide whether medical treatment would be administered.
The provisions of the regulations will not be applied on juveniles that have been forced to crime. (YY/UA)
