“The Municipality offers ‘0 rise’”
Speaking to bianet, union representative Hakan Yazıcı said they demand a rise of 15% but they dropped this rate during the negotiations.
Despite that, the Municipality offered 0 rise in salary, Yazıcı said.
Furthermore, stating that the Municipality offered to have 250 people from Theater Directorate staff be left out of the agreement, Yazıcı added that this is unacceptable in terms of both Labor Act and Union Act.
17 workers were sacked from Bakırköy Municipality in May. Some of the workers had won reemployment lawsuit. (NV/TK)
