The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has found the application about Roboski massacre “inadmissible”.
Legist Benan Molu has said, “The Roboski application, which was rejected by the Constitutional Court on the ground that applicant lawyers didn’t send the missing documents within time, has been rejected by the ECtHR on the same ground”.
Constitutional Court had rejected
On December 28, 2011, 34 people 28 of whom were from the same family, were killed in bombardment launched by jets in Turkey’s southeastern villages of Roboski and Bujeh in district of Uludere, Şırnak.
After the Constitutional Court rejected the application concerning the massacre, 281 applicants appealed to the ECtHR due to the right violations including right to life. (AS/TK)
