4-year-old O.Ö. hit by an armored police vehicle house has been severely injured in Turkey’s southeastern İdil, Şırnak.
An armored police vehicle hit O.Ö. who was playing in front of his family’s home in Aşağımahalle in İdil district. O.Ö. was first taken to İdil State Hospital by the people around and then referred to Cizre State Hospital following the initial treatment.
His treatment continues in Batman State Hospital as his condition is severe. The wounded child is kept in intensive care.
According to a report by Bayram Kaplan from the Doğan News Agency, an investigation has been launched into the accident.
The Human Rights Association (İHD) İzmir Branch had declared that 23 people lost their lives in armored vehicle crashing; six people lost their lives and 34 others were injured in fire commenced from armored vehicle. (AS/TK)
