osmankavala.org website has opened for Anadolu Kültür Executive Board Chair, human rights activist Osman Kavala to be released with the “Free Osman Kavala” message.
Besides, a Twitter account named “Kavala’ya Özgürlük” (Free Kavala) has been opened.
Osman Kavala was detained at İstanbul Atatürk Airport on October 18 on his return from Antep and was arrested on November 1 towards morning hours.
Kavala was being investigated as a part of the investigation launched into the July 15 coup attempt and the 17-25 corruption and bribery operations, and that he was arrested on charges of "attempting to abolish constitutional order" and "attempting to overthrow the Government of the Republic of Turkey".
On osmankavala.org website, it is stated that these charges pressed against Kavala openly contravene legal principles and said, “Besides, these charges are not based on any evidence. Counsel for the prosecution doesn’t present any concrete evidence.
