Diyarbakır Governorship has declared curfew in in 10 villages in Lice within the scope of on operation launched against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).
The statement issued by the Governorship said that that operation has been launched to “neutralize Separatist Terror Organization members and their collaborators who are running activities in mountainous and forestry areas in Lice territory”.
It was stated that the curfew will last “until further notice”.
The curfew started as of this morning (January 5) at 5 a.m.
The villages in which curfew was declared are Kayacık, Ortaç, Yalaza, Tepe, Arıklı, Serince Çağdaş, Uçarı, Dibekköy and Yolçatı.
