In his statements he made to journalists, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım has declared that ight people including two police officers have been killed, 100 others wounded in the bomb attack launched this morning in Diyarbakır.
"Seperatist terror organization carried out an attack this morning at around 8 a.m. in Diyarbakır. A bomb-laden vehicle was detonated in the area where riot squad was deployed. There were also children in the area.
"Eight people including two police officers and one technician died, one terrorists was captured dead. 93 of over 100 wounded people in the hospital was discharged, seven of the wounded are in treatment".
Diyarbakır Governor in its second statement expressed that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) claimed responsibility for the attack. (AS/TK)
