Three police officers have lost their lives in the explosion on the international Silk Road between Kızıltepe district of Mardin and Viranşehir district of Urfa.
According to Yüksekova News, the improvised explosive device planted on the road earlier in Kızıltepe has been detonated while armoured police vehicle was driving by, killing three police officers.
The three special operation police officers killed on the scene have been transported to Kızıltepe State Hospital.
It has been reported that operation has been launched in the region (YY/DG)
