Siirt Governorship has declared 11 areas in Eruh, Pervari, Tillo and central districts of Siirt have been declared temporary special security zone for 15 days.
According to the governorship’s statement, the areas which are declared special security zone between July 3-17 are as follows:
South of Okçular village in Eruh district, east of Yanıkses village, north of Görendoruk village, south of Kuşdalı village, Çaçi mountains region, north of Bilgili village, north and east of Yeniçizmeli village.
East of Akyayla village in Tillo district.
South of Palamutlu and Tosuntarla villages in Pervari distric. West of Doğanca village.
Regions located on the east of Central Ekmekçiler village.
The reasoning of the special security zone announcement was explained as follows: “Maintaining life and property safety of our citizens, sustaining the present peace and safety environment, protecting our state and nation from all sorts of terrorism threat and offensive, national security, maintaining public order, preventing crime and protecting rights and freedoms of others”.
