Yılmaz Öncü (18) wounded heavily in the attack carried out against the villagers in Turkey’s southeastern Uludere district of Şırnak province on May 29, has lost his life in the hospital to where he was taken for treatment.
Yılmaz Öncü had lost one of his legs resulting by the shelling fired from Gülyazı Regimental Commandry, and taken into the Şırnak State Hospital.
A group crossing into Iraqi Kurdistan Region on May 29 for border trade was exposed to assault with mortar shelling on their return to Roboski, and 18-year-old Vedat Öncü had lost his life on the scene as five others wounded.

HDP’s Encü is not let inside his own village
According to the report of Yannis Vasilis Yaylalı on Activity for Peace website, Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Şırnak MP, Ferhat Encü is not allowed to enter his village, Roboski.
“I am not allowed even to go to my own condolence over two days. I am being obstructed without being given any reason”, wrote Encü on his Twitter account. (EKN/TK)
