Convention on Rights of a Child Illustrated for Children

 Odunpazarı Municipality of Eskişehir has summarized and illustrated the Convention on the Rights of a Child for children.

In the book, the Convention on the Rights of a Child has been summarized in a more child-friendly language.

The book which includes besides the Articles 17, 29 and 30 which Turkey has made an exception from also a mini-dictionary which containing the definitions of legal terms.   

The book has been produced by Cengiz Kaplan and edited by M. Mahzun.

To be sent to all municipalities

Odunpazarı Municipality of Eskişehir will send the illustrated books to all municipalitie in order to contribute to the efforts to raise awareness concerning child rights.

Odunpazarı Mayor Kazım Kurt in his statement as to the issue has promised that their municipality will be a one which respects child rights.

“We as the Odunpazarı Municipality present the Convention on the Rights of a Child to children and want them to learn their rights, look out for their rights and have a happy childhood”.
