A rocket has been launched on Kilis from ISIS-held (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) territory in Syria, and shell was fired on Hatay. Another rocket launched after an hour on Kilis has killed two wounded five.
Turkish Armed Forces has declared that they have returned fire.
Kilis
One of the two rockets launched dropped on an olive garden in Eblüle neighborhood. While the shell didn’t explode, the police have taken security measures.
Approximately 10 minutes later, another rocket hit an oxygen filling facility situated right behind Kilis State Hospital.
The fire squad has started work in case of an oxygen leak.
Bu olayın bir saat sonrasında Kilis'e yine roket atıldı. Roket Kilis Yavuz Sultan Selim Mahallesi Mehmet Geçik Ortaokulu yakınlarındaki boş araziye düştü.
Patlamada, çobanlık yapan Suriyeli Kamil Cerruh ve bir kişi daha hayatını kaybetti. Dört kişi yaralandı. Olayda 10 koyun da hayatını kaybetti.
Patlamanın ardından okul tahliye edildi.
An hour after this incident, another rocket has been launched on Kilis. The rocket dropped on the empty area near Mehmet Geçik Secondary-School in Yavuz Sultan Selim neighborhood.
In the explosion, Syrian sheppard Kamil Cerruh and another person have lost their lives, five others wounded. 10 sheeps also have lost their lives in the explosion.
Hatay
A shell fired from again Syrian side on rural area nearby Topraktutan Border Post in Yayladağı district of Hatay province.
There is no casualties in the incident.
Kilis Governor: We are not going without ablution*
Kilis Governor, Süleyman Tapsız as to the rockets frequently fired on the province said, “It might drop on us anytime, we can’t know it. Nevertheless, let us tell you that we are not going out without ablution”.
ISIS rockets
Municipality worker Mehmet Hanifi Sağlam (48) wounded by the rocket fired yesterday on Kilis, has lost his life in Kilis State Hospital where he was taken for treatment. Another municipality worker had died in the morning hours.
12 people wounded by the five Katyusha rockets dropping on Kilis on April 11.
Two rockets launched on Kilis from ISIS-held territory in Syrian on April 7, which left three wounded.
