DİHA (Dicle News Agency) correspondents Ferzen Çatak and Mahmut Ruvanas as well as Azadiya Welat daily correspondent Kadri Esen have been taken into custody in a police raid in Şırnak’s İdil district which has been under curfew for 13 days.
Special operations police have carried out a raid in a house where Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Şırnak MP Ferhat Encü, the three journalists and other civilians were in and conducted a search in the house.
Encü has shared on his Twitter account that the police has conducted the search pounding him and the owner of the house and has taken them into custody together with the three journalists.

One soldier and a police officer injured
In the armed fights taken place in İdil, one soldier and a police officer have been injured.
It has been reported that the soldier and the police officer injured in the clashes occurred in Turgut Özal neighbourhood, had not been under risk of death.
Artillery shootings at the municipality building
According to the report of imc TV, many houses in Turgut Özal neighbourhood and the municipality building in Alanya street have been damaged due to artillery shootings. (ÇT/DG)
