3 Security Officers in Cizre, Another in Sur Killed, 4 Others Injured

Following the attack carried out in Reyhan Street of Cudi neighbourhood, one police officer and one soldier severely injured have been taken to Cizre State Hospital.

The injured soldier and police officers could not be rescued despite all efforts.

In the written statement made by the Turkish General Staff, it has been announced that a police officer and a soldier have lost their lives  in Cizre around 4 p.m. but their identities have not been revealed.

Another police officer has lost his life in another armed clash occurred in the evening hours.

Five soldiers injured in Sur one of which has lost his live

It has also been announced that five other security officers have been injured in a clash between soldiers and members of Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) occurred in the morning hours in Sur district of Diyarbakır one of whom has lost his life in Diyarbakır Military Hospital..
