Explosion in Sur: 7 Police Injured

Seven security officers have been injured by the bomb exploding as the officers were disposing of the bomb in Turkey’s southeastern Sur district of Diyarbakır province.

The incident took place in Süleyman Nazif Street in Dabanoğlu neighborhood at 5 p.m.

A largne number of ambulances have been referred to scene of the incident. The wounded have been taken into Diyarbakır Military Hospital by ambulances for treatment.

Two of the injured are reportedly seriously wounded. (EKN/TK)
