Campaign for Teacher Ayşe

26 intellectuals have informed themselves on to prosecution as to the investigation launched against Ayşe Çelik for her talk on TV program, and initiated a petition to turn this act into a mass campaign.

26 intellectuals consist of artists, academics, journalists and writers, saying “We are All Teacher Ayşe” have turned themselves on to prosecution.

Ayşe Çelik going live on phone on Beyaz Show had drawn attention to curfews and rights violations.

Thereupon, Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecution Office has started investigation.

What had Ayşe Çelik said?

Campaign

On the other hand, in the campaign launched by “Initiative against Crime of Thought (?!)”, call has been made to turn the campaign launched by those who informed themselves on to prosecution by saying “We are All Teacher Ayşe” into a mass campaign.

“Two symbolic committees have informed themselves on to prosecution by the effort of ‘Those who Sue for Peace’ initiative that learned that an investigation has been started against Ayşe Çelik who went live on phone on the program hosted by Beyazıt Öztürk broadcasted on Kanal D on January 8, 2016 Friday about the things she said. Let us turn this beautiful start into a mass campaign”.
