DİHA Reporter, 36 People Detained in Silopi

37 people including Dicle News Agency (DİHA) reporter, Nedim Oruç have been detained in Turkey’s southeastern Silopi district of Şırnak.

According to DİHA, many people forcefully removed from their houses in Şehit Harun neighborhood have been taken to indoor sports hall.

37 people including DİHA reporter Nedim Oruç were taken into custody following their criminal record check (GBT). Where the detainees have been taken is yet to be announced.

The report also includes that as many as 20 citizens brought to the sports hall and detained were brought to Silopi Court. (EA/TK)
