The Diyarbakır Health Platform has shared the latest figures about the incidence of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) among the healthcare personnel in Turkey's southeastern Diyarbakır province.
According to the data shared by the platform, 346 health workers have been diagnosed with the virus as of August 6. The highest incidence of the disease has been recorded among nurses and midwives with 128 cases.
The details about the infected personnel are as follows:
"77 physicians, 12 dentists, 1 dentist assistant, 123 nurses/midwives, 2 paramedics, 8 emergency medical technicians, 48 personnel, 1 environmental health technician, 11 automation personnel, 5 security guards, 4 psychologists, 1 driver, 1 cook, 10 secretaries, 10 anesthetics technicians, 5 radiology technicians, 7 laboratory technicians, 1 surgery technician, 1 food technician, 1 electrician, 2 social service specialists, 3 clerks, 3 health clerks, 1 healthcare services clerk, 1 rapporteur, 1 carrier."
