Darıca Laborer Culture Association (DEKD) Deputy Chair Kubilay Çelik and its member Enver Arğ were detained due to their social media posts about Afrin operation on Saturday (March 10).
The association in its statement said that “the operation was launched to obstruct laborers being organized”.
According to Gebze Haber, detained by Anti-Terror teams, Çelik and Arğ are still kept in Kocaeli Provincial Security Directorate.
The Ministry of Interior had declared that legal action was taken against 169 people due to their social media posts between February 26 and March 5.
In its statement dated February 26, the ministry declared that 845 people who criticized the Afrin operation on social media and attend critical demonstrations were detained. (AS/TK)
