Assoc. Prof. Dr. Candan Badem Tunceli University academic member, has been released with judicial control demand after his detention for possession of Fethullah Gülen’s book in his university room.
Badem’s some posts on Twitter regarding his detention are as follows:
“The crime that imputed to me is being a member of Fethullahist Terrorist Organisation (FETÖ) and attempting to coup! And the evidence is a book of Fethullah Gülen in my room. It is unbelievable but it is true.
“The irony here is, Fethullah Gülen’s book Asrın Getirdiği Tereddütler-4 which is the evidence, is the book that I used against Fethullah Gülen by quoting from him.
“Thank atheism, handcuffs which have not been put on ISIS members have been put on me.
“Being an atheist and Marxist worked for the first time in my life. It was fated to be as well :-))
“There are plenty of Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin books in my house. But they couldn’t stand surety for me :-))” (BK/UA)
