President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan gathered with the village headpersons for the 24th time at Presidential Palace today.
Erdoğan criticized the Leman comic.
“So-called comic”
President Erdoğan has spoken as follows as to the Leman using theme of the village headpersons on its cover as follows:
“Someone feels uncomfortable when we fulfill ours longing. Since they have no limits as they externalize their disturbance, it can extend to our village headpersons.
“So-called comic had published a caricature on its cover insulting our village headpersons. Thanks to the association our village headpersons demonstrated, this comic had to apologize on its cover.
“If you hadn’t taught these impertinent people their place, these impudent people would get away with this”.
What did Leman draw?
Leman’s cover last week was as follows:

As to this cover, İstanbul Village Headpersons Solidarity Association (İMDD) members claiming the caricature was “baseless, invective, cynic, and derogatory” filed a criminal complaint and declared that they expect an apology.
Leman drew the village headperson again this week:
The village headpersons are seen with banners of protests while the two at the balcony says, "We bit on granite. They came by gathering the most handsome and strong ones".
