The satirical program, “extra 3” broadcasted on Northern Germany Radio Television Council (NDR) leading German Ambassador Micheal Erdmann to be summoned to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for televising the song called “Erdowie, Erdowo, Erdowahn” making fun of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, broadcasted the same clip with Turkish subtitles in its episode last night (March 30).
According to the report on Deutsche Welle Türkçe, “extra 3” moderator Christian Ehring said the following:
“Maybe Erdoğan hasn’t understood the clip. Thus, we are now presenting it with Turkish subtitles.

“It seems Erdoğan watches our program without paying any fee. If he wants to hear criticism he should watch us, but if not, then he should meet with Chancellor [Angela] Merkel”.
“Where will this tension lead to?”
Ehring reminding that Ambassador of Germany was being summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affair said, “We have summoned Ambassador of Turkey but he didn’t show up” and added:
“Where will this tension lead to? War? I completed my military service by doing civil duty at retiree dorm”.
Erdoğan is “employee of the month”
Ehring departing from the fact that the clip has been watched for 3 million times on Youtube said they owe a thanks to Erdoğan for his extraordinary cooperation and said they chose him as “employee of the month”. (EKN/TK)
