Unemployment has risen to its peak of last six months with 10.3% in September.
According to Turkish Statistical Institute, number of unemployed aged 15 or older has increased by 39,000 people compared to the same period of the last year and reached 3,103,100.
Again compared to the same period of the last year, 0.2 points of decrease in the unemployment rate is observed.
Employment rate
Number of employed people has become 27,156,000 increasing by 987,000 people in September 2015 compared to the same period of the last year.
The employment rate has become 46.8% with 1 point of increase.
Number of people working in agriculture sector has increased by 200,000 while the number of increase for non-agricultural sectors has become 786,000. 21.5% of the employed ones took place in agriculture, 19.6% in industry, 7.5% in construction, and 51% in service sectors.
Undeclared work
Rate of undeclared workers marked as 34.8%.
Rate of undeclared workers in September 2015 period has become 34.8% with 0.9 points of decrease compared to the same period of the last year.
Data purged of seasonal adjustment factors
Unemployment rate purged of seasonal adjustment factors has become 3,112,000 by seeing increase of 16,000 people compared to the same period of the last year.
Unemployment rate has become 10.4% by remaining the same.
Employment rate purged of seasonal adjustment factors increasing by 171,000 people compared to the same period of the last year has become 26,851,000.
Employment rate has become 46.3% by 0.3 points of increase. (YY/TK)
