Trustee Appointed to Kaynak Holding

Trustee has been appointed to 19 companies, one foundation and one association incorporated in Kaynak Holding within the scope of investigation launched over “parallel state organization”.

In line with verdict of Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kartal, trustee has been appointed to 19 companies, one foundation and one association incorporated in Kaynak Holding within the scope of investigation launched over “parallel state organization”.

The trustees have entered the administration buildings in Üsküdar, Bağcılar, and Bayrampaşa escorted by İstanbul Security Directorate Fight against Financial Crime Branch Office teams.

Turkey's former Prime Minister, now President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has used the term "parallel state" (or "parallel structure") to describe followers of U.S.-based preacher Fethullah Gülen who have allegedly wiretapped high-level officers and occupied senior bureaucratic and judicial positions, which have been accused of attempting to bring down Erdoğan's government.

In the meantime, it has been learned that another trustee has been appointed to a company of the holding in İzmir.

Kaynak Holding operates with 23 companies, including arasında Sürat Kargo, Nt Mağazaları, Fem Yayınları in 16 sectors such as education, retail, logistics.

Reportedly there are about 8,000 employees working for the companies incorporated in the holding.

As per Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office demand, it was ruled to appoint trustee to 22 companies incorporated in Koza İpek Holding charged over “providing financial aid to terror”.

There were Bugün daily and Kanaltürk TV channel among these companies. (NV/TK)
