Kadesh 2016 International Caricature Exhibition will be exhibited in cooperation with Günebakan Kültür Derneği (Günebakan Culture Association) and Haziran Bilim Sanat Basın Meclisi (Haziran Science Art Press Assembly) at Cezayir meeting halls in İstanbul on the dates between Januar 7-February 15.
The “Middle East and Peace” themed exhibition is named after the first written treaty of the world; the Kadesh treaty.
The purpose of the exhibition is defined as reminding the importance of living together in the Middle East where life, civilization, abundance grow and that peace can still be achieved.
Works of 160 artists from 58 countries will be exhibited at the exhibition which attracts a great deal of attention in international platform.
The exhibition that hosts artists such as Houmayun Mahmoudi (IIran), Mello (Brazil), Darko Drljevic (Montenegro), Plantu, Bernard Bouton (France), Luc Descheemaeker (Belgium), Angel Boligan (Cuba) can be visited at Cezayit Meeting Halls between the dates of January 7-February 15 (9 a.m.-6 p.m.).
